(THTTC3628 Edward Street/Pulteney Mews, Bathwick, Bath) (Temporary Introduction Of A One-Way Restriction) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and a one-way restriction in that length of:

• Edward Street, Bathwick, Bath will be closed to traffic traveling north west from its junction with Vane Street to its junction with Great Pulteney Street. A one-way restriction will be introduced to allow traffic to travel in a south east direction only from its junction with Great Pulteney Street to its junction with Vane Street. USRN: 47900389.

• Pulteney Mews, Bathwick, Bath will be closed from its junction with Edward Street extending south west to a point outside 6 Pulteney Mews. USRN: 47901175.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main upgrade works on the 24th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

Edward Street – Works are anticipated to take place between 24th February - 21st March 2025.

Pulteney Mews – Works are anticipated to take place between 3rd March - 28th March 2025.

Edward Street: Vane Street – Darlington Street – Great Pulteney Street.

Pulteney Mews: William Street – Great Pulteney Street – Edward Street – Vane Street.

(THTTC3633 Russell Street, City Centre, Bath) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Russell Street, City Centre, Bath for its entire length. USRN: 47901307.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable National Grid to carry out substation repair works on the 26th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE WEEKS.

(THTTC3664 Morford Street, Lansdown, Bath) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Morford Street, Lansdown, Bath for its entire length. USRN: 47901069.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to install a new gas service on the 11th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 

Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS. Access will be maintained for residents.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Top Lane, Farmborough, Bath from its junction with Hunstrete Road extending east to its junction with A39 Bath Road. USRN: 47903905.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to install poles in the deep verges on the 26th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

(THTTC3683 Charlcombe Lane, Bath) (Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Charlcombe Lane, Bath extending from a point 200 metres from its junction with Richmond Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 827 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate the annual Toad migration including volunteer community toad rescue project and monitoring work by the Charlcombe Toad Rescue Group on 10th February 2025 for a maximum period of 8 Weeks. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 

This is anticipated to be for SIX WEEKS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Midland Road, Westmoreland, Bath from a point outside Alexandra House. USRN: 47913514.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to install a crane for building works on the 13th February 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30 – 15:00hrs only.
