Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U61403 Chase End Street, Berrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U61403 Chase End Street from its junction with U61404 Whiteleaved Oak for a distance of 185 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Replacement electrical cable by National Grid.

Alternative route: U61403 Hollybush, A438 Hollybush, B4208 Berrow, C2212 Camers Green, U61403 Chase End Street (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 February 2025.

(A4104 High Street, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A4104 High Street from its junction with A4104 Church Street to its junction with C2099 New Street.

Reason: Manhole cover replacement by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: B4211 Hanley Road, B4209 Gilberts End Lane, B4209 Hanley Swan to Gilberts End Lane, B4208 Blackmore Park Road, B4208 Garrett Bank, A4104 Drake Street, A4104 Welland Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-06:00). Commencing: 11 February 2025.

(A4104 Old Street, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of A4104 Old Street from its junction with C2099 New Street to its junction with Backfields Lane (NSG ref. 24406548).

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: A4104 Old Street (part), A4104 Tunnel Hill, B4211 Gloucester Road, B4211 Holdfast, B4211 Longdon, A438 Long Green, A438 Ledbury Road, Into Gloucestershire, A38 Tewkesbury Road, A4104 Holly Green, A4104 Upton to East Waterside, A4104 High Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (20:00-06:00). Commencing: 13 February 2025.

(C2207 Old Hollow, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2207 Old Hollow from its junction with U63544 Old Hollow to its junction with U63545 Old Hollow.

Reason: Street lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems.

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: C2207 Old Hollow (part), B4219 Cowleigh Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, B4232 West Malvern Road, C2207 Old Hollow (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 February 2025.

(U63531 Belvoir Bank, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63531 Belvoir Bank from its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Road to its junction with North Hill Gardens (NSG Ref 24411189). Reason: Street lighting by Prysmian Cables and Systems. No access for emergency services diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Road, U63530 Pump Street, B4232 North Malvern Road, U63531 Belvoir Bank (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 February 2025.

(B4211 Worcester Road, Hanley Castle) (Layby only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of the Layby on B4211 Worcester Road for its entire length.

Reason: Surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: No diversion as layby only closed.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 231 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 February 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath GU-505 (part) Guarlford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 22 August 2024 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath GU-505 (part) from OSGR 8370 4517 to OSGR 8365 4537 which was due to expire on 7 February 2025 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 7 February 2026 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made as a result of a damaged footbridge.

Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
