THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) 

(BOROUGH ROAD, COMBE MARTIN) ORDER 2025
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC & PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 3/3/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 14/3/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: BOROUGH ROAD, COMBE MARTIN, (FROM THE JUNCTION FOR CROSS STREET TO NEAR JACKS).

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Borough Road, Seaside, Woodlands, Newberry Hill, Road From The Old Sawmill To Newberry Hill, Road From Watermouth Road To The Old Saw Mill, Watermouth Road, Hillsborough Road, Portland Street, High Street, Church Street, St Brannocks Road, Road From St Brannocks Road To Mullacott Cross Roundabout, Road From Mullacott Cross To Twitchen Cross, Road From Mullacott Cross To Lynton Cross, Road From Lynton Cross To Smythen Cross, Road From Smythen Cross To Berry Down Cross, Road From Berry Down Cross To Henstridge House, Road From Berrydown Cross To Coil Cross, Road From Seven Ash Cross To Coil Cross, Road From East Close Cross To Seven Ash Cross, Leigh Road To Easter Close Cross, Road From Lynton Road To Higher Leigh Manor Hotel, Lynton Road, Victoria Street, Castle Street, High Street, King Street, Borough Road.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: PROVISION OF NEW SURFACE WATER SEPERATION DRAINAGE SYSTEM.

Roads affected: BROADCLOSE ROAD, STICKLEPATH.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Broadclose Road, Rhododendron Avenue, Bickington Road, Old Torrington Road & Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: POLE REPLACEMENT.

Roads affected: Road From Longland Lane To Georgeham Village Store, Georgeham, (From The Side Of Newberry Road Garage To Near To The Rectory).

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Road From Forda Hill To Kings Arms, Road From Devon View To St Marys Road, St Marys Road, Hobbs Hill, Road From Hobbs House To Broadlys, Road From Pump House To Saunton Sands, Saunton Road, Caen Street, Chaloners Road, Road From Buckland Cross To Georgeham Cross, Road From Fairlinch Cross To Buckland Cross, Road From No Mans Land To Fairlinch Cross, Road From Cruffen Cross To No Mans Land, Road From Lobbthorn Stile To Cruffen Cross, Road From Quoinlea To Lobbthorn Stile, Road From Longland Lane To The Farm House. This Temporary Restriction Is Considered Necessary To Enable: Provide New Water Connection - 2M Carriageway.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: LEAD REPLACEMENTS.
