What is happening?

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

(TEMPORARY ONE WAY) ORDER 2025

NEASHAM ROAD, DARLINGTON

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be:

ONE WAY - NEASHAM ROAD

From the north side of Thomas Street junction northwards to the roundabout at Yarm Road

No left turn from Pembroke Court onto Neasham Road and no entry from St John's Crescent onto Neasham Road

An alternative route will be signed via Yarm Road, Geneva Road and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow works to divert an electric cable.

The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 3rd March 2025, it is anticipated that the restrictions will be effective for 4 weeks.
