Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours on Friday 7 February 2025 until 2359 hours on Friday 31 March 2025, for a period of approx 2 week, or when the works has been completed, a oneway restriction will be introduced along High Street, from its junction with Market Square and its junction with South Street, in a west to east direction. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restriction is required to assist with footway resurfacing works.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 7 February 2025 and Friday 21 March 2025 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately 2 weeks within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable footway resurfacing works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
