ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
- NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton on 3 February 2025 made the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 19) Order 2025 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended –
- The general effect of the Order will in Vale Road, Sutton
(a) Outside No 47a: remove a length of permit holder parking bay and replace with a single yellow line operating Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm; and
b) Outside No 49: remove a length of waiting restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) and replace with a permit holder parking bay operating Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm; and
- A copy of the Order that will come into force 10 February 2025, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA. Copies can also be obtained by calling 020 8770 5000.
- If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
