ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

 (EARLS BARTON ROAD, MEARS ASHBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Earls Barton Road, Mears Ashby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Earls Barton Road, Mears Ashby from junction with Tinkers Crescent to Manor Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water mains installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 8 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Wilby Road, Wellingborough Road and North Street.

(FINESHADE ROAD, CORBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Fineshade Road, Corby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Fineshade Road, Corby from junction with Wakerley Quarry to Footpath MX2.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during tree felling.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Stamford Road and Duddington Road.

(HIGH STREET, EARLS BARTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Earls Barton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Earls Barton from outside Stags Head Pub.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 11 days.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Gipsy Lane, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Gipsy Lane, Kettering from Langsett Close to Windermere Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water connection works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hawthorn Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hawthorn Road, Kettering from outside no.36.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during lead pipe replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Lancaster Way, Rushden as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Lancaster Way, Rushden from the junction with Gloucester Crescent.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossing works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Finedon as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Finedon from the junction with Burton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas main replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Northumberland Road and Sussex Road, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Northumberland Road and Sussex Road, Kettering from the junction with Patrick Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during road crossings for essential works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Oakley Road and Lyveden Way, Corby from the roundabout including all approaches.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Station Road, Corby – between A427 Oakley Road and the High Street roundabout.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing (overnight works).

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that length of Wessex Close, Kettering as set out below.

LENGTH OF FOOTPATH TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Footpath between Wessex Close and Brooksdale Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works for a new supply (National Grid).

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 7th February 2025 and will continue in force for a period of six months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the footpath will be restricted for up to 5 days.
