What is happening?

Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Harlow as specified in schedule 1 to this Order.
- A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Harlow District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th February 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Workers Road, High Laver in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 115m northeast of its junction with Threshers Bush for a distance of approximately 30m in a northwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd March 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30032794150 – UK Power Networks).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via High Laver Road, Wind Hill, Weald Bridge Road, Talbot Roundabout, Canes Lane Diversion, Canes Lane Roundabout, Canes Lane, Hastingwood Roundabout, London Road, Harlow Common, Green Lane and vice versa (with access only into Theshers Bush, Workers Road).
The Order will come into effect on 13th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Woodside, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Woodside, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 155m north of its junction with Epping Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a northwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th March 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410259050 – Affinity Water).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe relaying works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via High Road, Thornwood Road, The Plain, Epping Road, Woodside and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th February 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Avondale Drive, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Avondale Drive, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 20m southwest of its junction with Roading Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a southwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004246 – Essex County Council).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trial holes works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Avondale Drive, Roding Road, Southern Drive, Kenilworth Gardens and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Borders Lane, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Borders Lane, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with The Campus to its junction with Homecroft Gardens, a distance of approximately 75m.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2025 for 2 nights (21:00 – 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFTJ7L6JETHSB-02 – Openreach).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while desilting works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Fyfield Road, Willingale) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Fyfield Road, Willingale in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 330m in a northwesterly then southwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th February 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PLT2487896423032024 – Openreach).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Willingale Road, Queen Street, Dunmow Road, Birds Green, Dukes Lane, Beech Road, The Street, Fyfield Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th January 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Gravel Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Gravel Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 245m northwest of its junction with Millers Lane for a distance of approximately 605m in a northwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st February 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFQT290NSB – Openreach).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Park Lane, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Park Lane, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 60m southwest of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in a southwesterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th February 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ1041001390969 – Cadent).

(School Green Lane, North Weald Bassett) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of School Green Lane, North Weald Bassett in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 55m northwest of its junction with Princes Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001387248 – Cadent).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Cadent.

(Shernbroke Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Shernbroke Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Honey Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a northeasterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30032912629 – UK Power Networks).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Turpins Lane, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Turpins Lane, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 5m in a southeasterly direction.
- The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th February 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001352512 – Cadent).
- The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
- The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stub assessment works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Turpins Lane, Love Lane, Smeaton Road, Chigwell Road and vice versa.
