Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Due To New Connection Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A449, The Southend, Ledbury, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A449, The Southend, Ledbury, from the roundabout with the A417 to the crossroads with the A438 (northbound lane only). Grid Ref: 371135/237458.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A417 onto the A438 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th of February 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
