What is happening?

BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BARNSLEY NORTH EAST AREA) (TRAFFIC REGULATION CONSOLIDATION)
ORDER 2018 (AMENDMENT NO. - ) ORDER 202-

It is proposed to prohibit waiting at any time on the:
i) north east side of High Street, Shafton, Barnsley from a point 28 metres south east of its junction with the south eastern kerb line of Ebony Avenue to a point 54.5 metres north west of its junction with the north western kerb line of Ebony Avenue.

ii) both sides of Ebony Avenue, Shafton Barnsley, from its junction with the northeastern kerb line of High Street in a north easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres.

Documents about the proposal are available to view on the council’s web site and at the Library @ the Lightbox, 1 The Glass Works, Barnsley, and Cudworth Branch Library, Barnsley Road, Barnsley S72 8UQ during normal opening hours.

Any objection or representation should be made in writing stating the grounds and sent by e-mail to TROfeedback@barnsley.gov.uk or by post to the Head of Transport & Highways (Traffic Management), PO Box 601, Barnsley S70 9FA no later than 28th February 2025.
