NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the proposals - in accordance with parking policy & planning permissions - is to amend the eligibility of the following properties to apply for Residents & Visitors Parking Permits as follows:

1. Cutteslowe - exclude No.36 Harbord Road from eligibility to apply for resident's parking permits, whilst retaining eligible to apply for visitors parking permits,

2. Jericho - exclude Nos.74A & 74B Walton Street from eligibility to apply for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits.

Additionally, the following administrative amendments will be made as a result of inconsistencies being identified within the relevant Traffic Regulation Orders:

3. East Oxford - re-exclude the 14 new dwellings at the site of No.5 Collins Street from eligibility to apply for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,

4. Magdalen Road (North) - re-confirm that Nos.27-139 Hurst Street are eligible to apply for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits,

5. Headington West - re-include Granville Court properties in Cheney Lane to be eligible to apply for resident's parking permits and residents' visitors' parking permits.

The proposals will further amend The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford) (Cutteslowe & Five Mile Drive Area) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2014, the City of Oxford (Jericho) (Parking Places and Controlled Parking Zone) Order 2000, The Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010, the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Magdalen Road (North) Area) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2012, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford, Headington West) (Controlled Parking Zone and Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022. Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 07 March 2025. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. (Ref: CM/12.6.320)

(VARIOUS ROADS - SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE) (MAP BASED) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.23) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that on 3 February 2025 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order, which comes into force on 10 February amends 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) parking restrictions on Elms Road in Thame, as follows:

    • Formalise & extend the existing double yellow lines on the north side of the carriageway, from a point 25 metres northwest of the centre of the access junction to the Rectory residential development, south-eastwards for a distance of approx. 58 metres.

    • Formalisation of the existing double yellow lines on the south side of the carriageway, from a point 24 metres northwest of the centre of the access junction to the Rectory residential development, south-eastwards for a distance of approx. 45 metres

The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021 is further amended as necessary, updating Map Tile EX103. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 17 February 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
