What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL 

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT-HAND TURN AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ONE WAY SUSPENSION AFFECTING ALDERGATE, CROFT ST, LOWER GUNGATE, ALBERT RD, SALTERS LN, ST JOHN ST, OFFA DRIVE, CORPORATION ST, UPPER GUNGATE, CHURCH ST, HOSPITAL ST, COMBERFORD RD AND LICHFIELD ST, TAMWORTH

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 28/01/2025 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Croft St, Lower Gungate, Albert Rd, Salters Ln, St John St, Offa Drive, Corporation St, Upper Gungate, Church St, Hospital St, Comberford Rd and Lichfield St, Tamworth and Temporary suspension of one way on Lower Gungate, Spinning School Lane and Albert Road and prohibit right hand turn from Comberford Road., Tamworth. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141351889. 

The Order will come into operation on 10/02/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 09/05/2025. 

The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 28/01/2025 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Birch Terrace, Burntwood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=141343225. The Order will come into operation on 10/02/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/02/2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the laying of new gas services works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
