What is happening?

THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (BETWEEN ELTON AND SEDGEBROOK)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) has made an order on the A52 Trunk Road, between Elton and Sedgebrook, in the Counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, to enable resurfacing and associated work to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the A52 between its junction with Station Road/Sutton Lane, at Elton, and its junction with Woolsthorpe Lane/Alington Road, at Sedgebrook.
The work is expected to start on Monday 17 February 2025 and continue for approximately two months.
The Order will come into force on 10 February 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
