(OLD LANE, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Old Lane, Birkenshaw from its junction with Town Street, to a point outside property no. 11 Old Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old Lane, Whitehall Road East, Bradford Road, Town Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will
commence on Monday 10 February 2025
08:00 hours and remain in force until 7 March 2025 17:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CHIDSWELL LANE, SHAW CROSS, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2)
ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Chidswell Lane, Shaw Cross, from a point at the side of property no. 37 to a point outside The Old Huntsman Public House PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Chidswell Lane, Windsor Road, Owl Lane, Leeds Road, Pickering Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will
commence on Monday 10 February 2025
08:00 hours and remain in force until 21 February 2025 18:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CLOUGH LANE, LOWER HOPTON,
MIRFIELD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Clough Lane, Lower Hopton from its junction with Falhouse
Lane to a point approximately 500 metres South West PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Whitley Road, Edge Top Road, Overthorpe Road, The Common, The Combs, Hall Lane,
Church Lane, Valley Road, Hostingley Lane, New Road, Nell Gap Lane,
Wakefield Road, Liley Lane, Tanhouse Lane, Clough Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 11 February 2025 and remain in force until 14 February 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRADFORD ROAD, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Littletown from a point outside property no. 239 Bradford Road to a point outside property no. 253 Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Leeds Road, Oxford Road, Spen Lane, St Peg Lane, Dewsbury Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 27 February 2025 23:59 hours and remain in force until 28 February 2025 04:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HIGH WOOD ROAD, BIRSTALL,
BATLEY) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of High Wood Road, Birstall from its junction with Oakwell Way to its junction with Gelderd Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Oakwell Way, Gelderd Road, Holden Ing Way, High Wood Road.
It is intended that the closure will
commence on Monday 24 February 2025
09:30 hours and remain in force until 28 March 2025 15:30 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
