Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – (As Amended) Public Footpath No. 10 (Part) Mavesyn Ridware Parish And No. 21 (Part) Colton Parish Emergency Closure
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on the 4/2/25 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following sections of public footpaths:
– Public Footpath No. 21 Colton Parish from its junction with the track located approximately 340 metres south east of its junction with Blithbury Rd for approximately 743 metres in a generally south easterly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 10 Mavesyn Ridware Parish.
– Public Footpath No. 10 Mavesyn Ridware Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 21 Colton Parish for approximately 226 metres in a south easterly direction to its junction with Public Footpath No. 13 Mavesyn Ridware Parish.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the construction of a solar farm.
An alternative permissive route will be available and will be sign posted on site.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the alternative route provided, length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order will come into operation on 6/2/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier.
If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

(Various Roads In Rickerscote) (No Waiting At Any Time, 20 Mph Zone, One Way And Speed Cushions) (Permanent) Order 2025
Staffordshire County Council on 04/02/25 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to replicate and continue indefinitely the provisions of Staffordshire County Council (No Waiting at Any Time, 20 MPH Zone, One Way and Speed Cushions) (Various Roads in Rickerscote) Experimental Order 2023.
Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Rising Brook Library, Merrey Rd, Stafford, Staffordshire or at https://consultation.appyway.com/stafford.
Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court.
The Order will commence on 08/2/25.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 04/02/2025 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:
Woodside Rd, Ranton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141309020. The Order will come into operation on 11/2/2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/2/2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the washout renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Orslow Rd, High Onn. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141725267. The Order will come into operation on 10/2/25 and the said closure will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the flooding has receded, whichever is the earlier.
Nelson Way, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=141248125. The Order will come into operation on 12/2/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 14/2/2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent Water communication pipe installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 25/2/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 3/3/25.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the sewer repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
