THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (SOUTHBANK ROAD, KIRKINTILLOCH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
On 04 February 2025 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on Southbank Road, Kirkintilloch between its junctions with Townhead, Kirkintilloch and Southbank Drive, Kirkintilloch by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 16 February 2025 until 18.00 hours on Sunday, 23 February 2025. Alternative Routes
The alternative routes will be by way of Southbank Drive, Donaldson Street, Marina Way, the B757 Lenzie Road, Townhead, Cowgate, Catherine Street, the A806 New Lairdsland Road and Parliament Road, Kirkintilloch and these routes will be signposted.

THE PROPOSED EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, TWECHAR) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 20XX
East Dunbartonshire Council, in accordance with their power under s84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers, propose to consider the introduction of a 20-mph speed limit on the entire length or part of the length of those roads in Twechar, listed in Schedule 1 below.
Full details of this proposal, which forms the proposed THE EAST DUNBARTONSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, TWECHAR) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER, together with a plan and statement of reasons for proposing to make this Order, are available for inspection without payment of fee on the Traffic Regulation Orders page of the
East Dunbartonshire Council website and at the offices of:-
(i) Roads & Environment, Broomhill Industrial Estate, Kilsyth Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1TF. Telephone Enquiries to 0300-123-4510 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday; and
(ii) William Patrick Library, 2-4 West High Street, Kirkintilloch G66 1AD between
10am and 8pm, Monday to Thursday and between 10am and 5pm Friday and Saturday;
