Bakewell Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
BAKEWELL ROAD, BUXTON
WHEN: 23 February to 02 March 2025 (Sunday's only between 09:30 – 15:30).
WHERE: Bakewell Road, Buxton between A6 Sewage Work and Lovers Leap.
REASON: To facilitate tree work.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A6, A5270, A515, B5059 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
