Whiteleas Avenue - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
WHITELEAS AVENUE, NORTH WINGFIELD
WHEN: 24 February to 21 March 2025.
WHERE: Whiteleas Avenue, North Wingfield between its Jct. with Wayside Close to its Jct. with Ashford Avenue.
REASON: To facilitate resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Whiteleas Avenue (from point of closure), B6038 Chesterfield Road, Alma Road, Whiteleas Avenue (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
