What is happening?
CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the roads and the
effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding
or waiting in those lengths of Church Street, West Street and
Castle Street at Conisbrough in the City of Doncaster District
and suspend the One Way Order as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in
the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst carriageway resurfacing works
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is as described in the Schedule to
this notice.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
Any contravention of the prohibitions or restrictions imposed
by this Order may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being
issued and the subsequent removal of a vehicle.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including
the 31st day of March 2025 or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said roads have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
1) Close Church Street, Conisbrough from its junction with
West Street to its junction with High Street.
2) Close West Street, Conisbrough from its junction with
Church Street to its junction with High Street.
3) Suspend the One Way Order on West Street, Conisbrough
for residential access.
4) Close Castle Street, Conisbrough from its junction with
Church Street in a north-easterly direction for a distance of
75 meters.
Dates and Times
On or after 08:00hrs 16th February 2025 until 18:00hrs 9th
March 2025.
Sunday closures between 08:00hrs and 18:00hrs.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st March 2025
Diversion Routes
i) Castle Street, Castle Hill From Castle Street To Low Road,
Low Road, Sheffield Road, Old Road, Church Street from
West street to Old Road.
ii) Church Street from West Street to Old Road, Old Road,
Sheffield Road, Low Road, Dale Road, Castle Hill.

TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED
BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS)
ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or
waiting in that length of East Lane at Stainforth in the City of
Doncaster District as described in the Schedule to this notice
on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public
and the workforce whilst carriageway improvement works
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via East Lane, Station Road, Emerson
Avenue and vice versa.
Any vehicle that is in contravention of the waiting restriction
imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions
of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

The road will reopen each evening.

conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st March 2025.

PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
TEMPORARY ORDER 2023
EXTENSION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the above named Order made by
City of Doncaster Council on the 17th day of August 2023
which came into force on the 18th day of August 2023 and
extended until the 18th day of August 2024 and further
extended until 18th February 2025 has been continued in
force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport
under section 15(3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act
1991 up to and including the 18th day of August 2026. The
Order would otherwise have expired on the 18th day of
February 2025.
The Order was made to ensure the safety of the public and
the workforce whilst work is undertaken to allow for a
temporary construction access to a residential development.
Reason for the extension of the temporary order is that there
are delays to work due to climate pressures, and workforce.
The site is still under development, a permanent order is
being progressed.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for
footpassengers affected by the Order is by way of a signed
diversion.
The order will continue in force up to and including the 18th
day of August 2026 or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out in the said footpath have been completed, whichever
is the earlier. If the works are not completed within the time
stated the Order may be further extended with the approval of
the Secretary of State for Transport. (PO125)

(AMENDMENT NO.) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
propose to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed
limit on the following roads:
Askern
Lakeland Avenue
Meadow Lark Way
Millstone Rise
Sawmill Drive
Timber Brook Court
Waterwheel Drive
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing
the restricted roads and a statement of the Councils reasons
for proposing to make the Order may be examined at the
Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the
hours of 9 am and 4.30 pm or on the Doncaster Council
