Notice of Proposed Special Event
Two Cities (Blue Lights S3) Ltd – Filming on the Road
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has received an
application from Two Cities (Blue Lights 3) Ltd that it wishes to
make arrangements to film on the road for the purposes of a
television series;
Blue Lights S3 on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th March 2025
By Virtue of the powers conferred on it by Article 8A of and Schedule
3A to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997 the
Council gives notice that it is minded to make an Order to temporarily
restrict or prohibit vehicular traffic from Ballyhill Road from the junction
of Ballyutoag Hill to the junction of Belfast Road. Carnaghliss Road
from the junction of Ballyutoag Road to a point 200meters south of the
junction of Calvert Road. Calvert Road from the junction of Ballyhill
road to the junction of Carnaghliss Road. Closures are proposed
between 07:00hrs and 19:30hrs.
Direction on traffic management will be provided and a diversion
route will be signposted.
Arrangements can be made to inspect the application
free of charge, by contacting the Council on the number and/or
email below.
Persons wishing to make representations to the Council regarding the
proposal may do so in writing at the address below by 27th February
2025 Representations received after this will not be considered.
