Tamworth Road, Sawley - Temporary Road Closure For Carriageway Patching And Resurfacing
What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure Tamworth Road, Sawley
WHEN: 27, 28 February and 03 March 2025 (19:00 to 23:59 each night)
WHERE: Tamworth Road, Sawley at the Jct. of Draycott Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching and resurfacing.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Tamworth Road, Wilne Road, Wilne Lane, Sawley Road, Station Road, Draycott Road, Main Street, Wilsthorpe Road, Derby Road, Petersham Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
