(Temporary 50mph Speed Limit) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling at a speed exceeding 50mph on the A2011 Crawley Avenue from the A2004 Northgate roundabout junction upto and including the A2011 Crawley Avenue roundabout junction.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst the carriageway is narrowed to allow vegetation clearance.

The Order will come into effect on 24 February 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. The reduced speed limit is expected to be in force for a week.
