What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – WIDE LANE, EASTLEIGH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of Wide Lane between its junction with A335 Roundabout and continuing to a point 300 metres Northeast along Wide Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bishopstoke Road, Fair Oak Road, Albin Drayton Lane, Eastleigh Road, Botley Road, Bubb Lane, Tollbar Lane, Botley Road, High Street, Swathling Road, Mansbridge Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: From Monday 10th February 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Tuesday 11th February 2025 and working between the hours 21:00-05:00).
