Temporary Closure of Lavers Close

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Lavers Close - from 26 metres south of the junction with Higher Road, southwards for a total distance of 15 metres. This Order will enable J.A.O Groundworks Ltd to carry out foul connection works.

The Order becomes effective on 18th February 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th February 2025 and last until 22nd March 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 27 days.
