Gilston Road - Temporary Road Closures For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES GILSTON ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Gilston Road to be closed from the junction of Milborne Grove to the junction of Priory Walk.
To be closed from 08.00hrs until 13.00hrs on Tuesday 11th February 2025, with a backup date of Tuesday 18th February 2025.
The one way working of Gilston Road is to be suspended for the duration of the closure, between the junctions of Milborne Grove and Priory Walk.
Diverted traffic to use Gilston Road, Milborne Grove, Harley Gardens, Priory Walk, Gilston Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
