THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE LEICESTER (JARROM STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:

Prohibit the eastbound movement of all vehicles on Jarrom Street between its junction Havelock Street and a point 50 metres east thereof from 12.00am on Monday 17th February 2025 until 11.59pm on Tuesday 25th February 2025.

Diversion route: Walnut Street, Aylestone Road, Infirmary Road, Jarrom Street. 

Prohibit parking, waiting and loading on Winifred Street between a point 10 metres east of its junction with Havelock Street and a point 10 metres east thereof from 12.00am on Friday 7th March 2025 until 11.59pm on Sunday 16th March 2025.

The Order will come into effect on the 17th February 2025 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.

These restrictions are to facilitate sewer connection works taking place near the above sections of highway. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
