Ulverscroft Road - Temporary Restrictions For Bridge Refurbishment Works

THE LEICESTER (ULVERSCROFT ROAD) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Ulverscroft Road between a point 75 metres east of its junction with Hathaway Close and a point 145 metres east thereof from 7.00am on Monday 10th February 2025 until 6.00pm on Sunday 4th May 2025.
Diversion route: Catherine Street, Dysart Way, Humberstone Road, Forest Road, Hammercliffe Road.
The Order will come into effect on the 10th February 2025 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
These restrictions are to facilitate bridge refurbishment works taking place on or near the above sections of highway. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
