What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(SHEPHERDS BUSH ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate telecoms works in the above-named road; it intends to make an Order the effect of which would temporarily prohibit traffic in the above-named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed to enter Holmead Road from the junction with Kings Road to a point 10 Meters northwest of that junction.

3. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed: the south bound bus lane from opposite Cambridge Court to the junction of Hammersmith Road would be suspended.

4. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 shall not be required.

5. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

6. The Order would come into operation on the 6th March 2025 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

7. Works would be expected to commence on Thursday 6th March 2025 and last to the 8th March 2025. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
