(Buxton Road, Hallam Street And Nangreave Road, Great Moor) (Temporary Prohibition Of Right Turn) Notice 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of right turn, Buxton Road, banned right turn onto Nangreave Road and banned right turn onto Hallam Street.
Hallam Street, banned right turn onto Buxton Road.
Nangreave Road, banned right turn onto Buxton Road whilst traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said road.
This Order is necessary to allow works to repair a damaged frame and cover to take place.
Alternative routes will be Signed on site. There will be an exemption for emergency vehicles, and pedestrians.
It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the works will be 10 days. This Order came into operation on the 2 February 2025 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
