Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U61614 Rectory Lane, Madresfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U61614 Rectory Lane from its junction with C2102 Madresfield Village to its junction with U63347 North End Lane.

Reason: Safe working only by BT.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U61614 Rectory Lane (part), C2102 Madresfield Village, U61615 Madresfield Village, U63347 North End Lane, U61614 Rectory Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 25 February 2025.

(U63427 Richmond Road, Malvern) (Southbound Closure Only) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63427 Richmond Road (Southbound Closure Only) from its junction with U63428 Merton Road to its junction with A449 Worcester Road.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U63427 Richmond Road (part), U63425 Church Road, C2237 Lower Howsell Road, A449 Worcester Road, U63361 Spring Lane, U63358 Spring Lane, C2288 Pickersleigh Avenue.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 24 February 2025.

(B4208 Berrow) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4208 Berrow from its junction with C2216 Camers Green for a distance of 100 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4208 Berrow (part), A438 Berrow, A438 Upper Pendock, A438 Long Green, B4211 Corse Lawn, Into Gloucestershire, B4208 Malvern Road, B4208 Gadfield Elm, B4208 Pendock, B4208 Berrow (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 28 February 2025.

(B4232 North Malvern Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4232 North Malvern Road from its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Road to its junction with U63529 Lodge Drive.

Reason: Remedial water utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: A449 Worcester Road, A449 Wells Road, B4218 Wyche Road into Herefordshire, B4232 West Malvern Road, B4232 North Malvern Road (part). Diversion Northbound: A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road, B4503 Leigh Sinton Road, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Malvern Road, A4103 Hereford Road, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire, B4219 Cowleigh Park, B4219 Cowleigh Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 22 February 2025.

(U63527 Hornyold Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63527 Hornyold Road from its junction with B4219 Cowleigh Road to its junction with U63532 St. Peters Road.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U63527 Hornyold Road (part), B4219 Cowleigh Road, B4232 North Malvern Road, A449 Worcester Road, B4503 Newtown Road, U63527 Hornyold Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 4 February 2025.

(C2102 Chance Lane, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2102 Chance Lane from its junction with B4211 Guarlford Road to its junction with U63323 Hall Green.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4211 Guarlford Road, B4211 Barnard's Green Road, B4208 Pickersleigh Road, C2260 Madresfield Road, C2102 Madresfield and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days. Commencing: 3 February 2025.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting (Proposal and Revocation) on Back Lane, Malvern]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time and to revoke the existing 30 minute limited waiting on the following sides and lengths of road in Malvern:

Back Lane (East side) - from a point 13 metres south of its junction with Edith Walk for a distance of 4.6 metres in a southerly direction and from a point 24 metres south of its junction with Edith Walk for a distance of 11.9 metres.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Abbey Road, Malvern) and (Proposal and Revocation of Limited Waiting on Grange Road, Malvern]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Malvern:-

Abbey Road (West side) - from a point 118 metres south of its junction with Priory Road for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction and from a point 164.5 metres north of its junction with College Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.

Proposed limited waiting for 3 hours, 8.30am-5.30pm, No return within 4 hours (and revocation of existing 2 hour limited waiting).

Grange Road, Malvern (Southeast side) - From a point 58.5 metres northeast of its junction with Abbey Road for a distance of 61 metres in a north easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
