Cumberland, Multiple Roads, Temporary Road Closures Due To Utility Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, NEAR IREBY, RAUGHTON HEAD AND STOCKDALEWATH) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in the attached Schedule.

Suitable diversion routes will be indicated on site by the display of relevant traffic signs as and when the temporary closures are in force. A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 7 February 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for as stated in the schedule and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

EXTENT OF RESTRICTIONS AND ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

1. C2049, Raughton Head - from 7 February 2025 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/13340)

From its junction with C2018 to its junction with the U1140.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2049, B5305, B5299 Welton and the C2049.

2. U1139 and C2049 Raughton Head - from 15 February 2025 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/13342)

(i) U1139 From its junction with B5299 to its junction with the C2049; and

(ii) C2049 from its junction with the U1139 to its junction with the U1142.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2049, B5305 Sebergham and the B5299 Welton.

3. C2059 Ireby to Uldale - from 19 February 2025 for approx. 4 days (Ref: TTROC/13345)

From its junction with the C2004 Uldale to its junction with the C2011 Ireby.

Alternative Route: via the C2011, C2021, U2129, B5299 and the C2004.

4. U2107 Ireby - from 27 February 2025 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/13354)

From a point approx 40m south west of its junction with the C2011, extending in a south westerly direction for approx 670m.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the U2107 Whitrigg, U2106 Torpenhow, U2103 and the C2011 Ireby.

5. U2103, Ireby - from 2 March 2025 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/13355)

From its junction with the C2011 to its junction with the U2122.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the U2103, U2106 Torpenhow, U2107 Whitrigg and the C2011 Ireby.

6. U2129, near Ireby - from 6 March 2025 for approx. 4 days (Ref: TTROC/13349)

From its junction with the B5299 to its junction with the C2021.

Alternative Route: via the unrestricted section of the C2021, C2020 and the B5299.

7.C2021, Aughertree, near Ireby - from 10 March 2025 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROC/13350)

From its junction with the U2129 to its junction with the C2004 Uldale.

Alternative Route: via the C2004, B5299 and the U2129.

From its junction with the C2004 to its junction with the U2129.

10. U1145, Stockdalewath - from 25 March 2025 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROC/13352)

From its junction with the C1018 to its junction with the U1218 Highbridge.
