HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

The following will be closed to all vehicles, no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at anytime:

  • Kings Park Drive, from its junction with the Christchurch Road (A35) for a distance of approx. 6m in a northerly direction – anticipated dates 3rd February 2025 until 14th February 2025
  • Southbourne Road, from its junction with Christchurch Road (A35) for a distance of approx. 20m in a southerly direction – anticipated dates 17th February 2025 until 28th February 2025
  • Drummond Road, from its junction with Christchurch Road (A35) for a distance of approx. 11m in a northerly direction – anticipated dates 24th February 2025 until 7th March 2025
  • Hamilton Road, from its junction with Christchurch Road (A35) for a distance of approx. 9m in a northerly direction – anticipated dates 24th February 2025 until 7th March 2025

WHY: To enable Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to carry out highway improvement works

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
