What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – New Lane, Havant

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: That part of New Lane between its junction with Eastern Road and its junction with School Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Beechworth Road, East Street, North Street, Elm Road, Park Road North, Elmleigh Road, Eastern Road.

DURATION  OF  ORDER:  From  Friday 7th February 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than Friday 7th February 2025 and working between the hours 09:30-15:30).

The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to do a blockage clearance. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: surveys@sunbelterentals.co.uk
