(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Widegates. This prohibition is necessary for surfacing repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd March 2025 to 7th March 2025.

Roads subject to prohibition - A387 Between The B3252 And Bake Lane, Widegates between Shortacross Farm and grid reference SX 30328 57401 and A387 Between Junction West Of Bickham And Bake Lane, Hessenford for its entire length.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Widegates. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.

Roads subject to stopping prohibition - A387 Between The B3252 And Bake Lane, Widegates between Shortacross Farm and grid reference SX 30328 57401 and A387 Between Junction West Of Bickham And Bake Lane, Hessenford for its entire length.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekends included.

(A390 Between Callington Road And South West Of Hill Farm, Liskeard, A390 Between South West Of Hill Farm And South West Of Trebeigh, Merrymeet and A390 Between South West Of Trebeigh And Southern Road Roundabout, St Ive)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Liskeard. This prohibition is necessary for parapit repairs and tree defect works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th February 2025 to 21st February 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Roads affected - A390 Between Callington Road And South West Of Hill Farm, Liskeard, A390 Between South West Of Hill Farm And South West Of Trebeigh, Merrymeet and A390 Between South West Of Trebeigh And Southern Road Roundabout, St Ive for their entire lengths.

(Road From Axford Hill To Fair View, Blunts)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Blunts. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th February 2025 to 21st February 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Axford Hill To Fair View, Blunts between grid references SX 35177 62687 and SX 35892 61558.

(B3269 Between Polglaze Farm And The A3082 Roundabout At Newtown, B3269 Between Castledor And Little Pinnock, Fowey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Fowey. This prohibition is necessary for works to provide fibre overhead cabling and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th March 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - B3269 Between Polglaze Farm And The A3082 Roundabout At Newtown, B3269 Between Castledor And Little Pinnock, Fowey from junction with Passage Lane to junction with Castledore Road.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 25th November 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Drift Lane, Two Waters Foot for its entire length.

The Order which commenced on the 26th November 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 28th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to remove silt from the road.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Fowey. This prohibition is necessary for electricity service update works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd March 2025 to 7th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Esplanade, Fowey from Fowey Hotel to property known as The Haven.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Lostwithiel. This prohibition is necessary for annual review and maintenance of Level Crossing and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th March 2025 to 10th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Grenville Road, Lostwithiel over the length of the Level Crossing.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Merrymeet. This prohibition is necessary for new gas connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th February 2025 to 20th February 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction North East Of Newton Farm Church View, Merrymeet between the junction of Trehawke Lane and property known as Hobbs Cottage.

This prohibition is necessary for overhead cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 3rd March 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - B3360 Between Merrivale And Redpost, Doublebois between grid reference SX 20027 65039 and the junction with Havett Road.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th February 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 3rd February 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Cleer. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected t hat the closure will be from 18th February 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Well Lane between the junctions with Kilmar Way and Fore Street, Road From Fore Street To Well Lane between St Cleer Car Park and the junction with Well Lane and Tremar Lane between the junction with Well Lane and property known as Clarence House, St Cleer.
