What is happening?

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Leylands Road/Concord Street, Sheepscar, Leeds)
(Temporary Traffic Management Measures) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways requiring the creation of a safe site delivery/collection zone; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel southbound along Leylands Road, Sheepscar between its junctions with Skinner Lane and Concord Street. 2. No person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to Stop, Wait, Load or Unload (excepting for works vehicles) along Leylands Road, Sheepscar, between its junctions with Skinner Lane and Concord Street. 3. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn right from Concord Street, Sheepscar onto Leylands Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the southbound closure on Leylands Road
will be available via: Skinner Lane, North Street, Holroyd Street, Sheepscar Street South, Cross Stamford Street, Regent Street & Byron Street. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Thursday 30 January 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 26 September
2025. The above restrictions will be in place 24 hrs per day. A Coultate. Ref: ECO2500019
(Wakefield Road, Drighlington, Leeds)
(Temporary Parking Bay Suspension) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because development works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or be in those parking bays situated on Wakefield Road, Drighlington, Leeds,
running from outside the building site entrance to outside property no. 232. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 17th February 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 9th March 2025. The suspension will be in place 24hrs per day.

(The Headrow, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because District Heating Pipework installation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the eastbound carriageway (bus lane) of The Headrow, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward, between its junctions with Oxford Place and Calverley Street, from Saturday 15 February until Sunday 23 February 2025 (inclusive). 2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along the westbound carriageway of The Headrow, Leeds, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward, between
its junctions with Oxford Place and Calverley Street during the weekends of 15 & 16 February and 22 & 23 February 2025. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the eastbound closure will be available via Oxford Place, Great George Street & Albion Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the westbound closure will be available via Park Row, Infirmary Street, East Parade, Calverley Street, Portland Street, Great George Street & Park Street. The Order is intended to come into operation at 07:00 hours Saturday 15th February 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier.
The works are expected to be completed by 20:00 hours on Sunday 23rd February 2025. The closures will be in place 24 hours a day. A Coultate. Ref: ECO2400013
(New Lane, Drighlington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas main replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along New Lane, Drighlington, in the Morley North Ward, between its junctions with Whitehall Road and Gildersome Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Whitehall Road, Gildersome Lane and vice versa.
Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 17th February 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Argyle Road, Sheepscar, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because district heating pipe and ducting installation works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Argyle Road, Sheepscar, Leeds, between its junctions with Macauley Street and Mabgate. Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Cromwell Street, Lincoln Green Road, Skinner Lane, Regent Street & Hope Road and also via Mabgate, Lincoln Green Road & Macauley Street.
Essential access to and from KD Bros car park will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 17th February 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Argyle Road, Kirkstall, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting or Parking) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because flagging works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park along Argie Road, Kirkstall, Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Argie Avenue and Bankfield Road. The suspension of wating and parking will be carried out in a sequence of 25 metre sections. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 17th February 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday
14th March 2025.The waiting and parking prohibition will be in place between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs on weekdays only, applying to 25 metre sections of road as indicated on site. G Moate Ref: ICO2400004

(Definitive Byway Pudsey No.4, Leeds) Parkin Lane Canal Bridge
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Use) Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because urgent bridge waterproofing and resurfacing works, with associated draining and lining works, are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned byway, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall proceed by vehicle or otherwise along
Definitive Byway No.4 Pudsey Leeds; from the bottom of Calverley Cutting, for a distance of approximately 200 metres, to where it meets Parkin Lane (being approximately 50m south of the bridge on Calverley Cutting).
No diversionary route will be available, however pedestrian and emergency vehicle access will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 10 February 2025.
The closure is intended to operate only from 10:00 hours until 14:00 hours, during the period Monday 10 and Friday 14 February 2025 inclusive and also during the period between Monday 17 and Friday 21 February 2025 inclusive.
