What is happening?

14 (1)(a) (AS AMENDED)

BARNSLEY COUNTY BOROUGH
FOOTPATH 46 TEMPORARY CLOSURE
An order has been made to close a section of Barnsley County Borough Footpath 46 from Kestral Avenue to Greenfoot Lane, Wilthorpe.
This Order shall come into operation on 3 February 2025 for a maximum duration of up to six months. Works estimated to take approx. 2 weeks.
Reason: Resurfacing works.

DUNFORD BRIDLEWAY NO. 4 & FOOTPATH NO. 5
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
The Secretary of State has authorised a further extension of the above named Order to close Dunford bridleway no. 4 and footpath no. 5 from Hollin Lane to Dunford footpath no. 3 for up to a further 12 months until the 3rd February 2026.
Reason: Obstruction of the legal alignment.

CUDWORTH FOOTPATH 66
TEMPORARY CLOSURE
An order will be made to close Cudworth footpath 66 from its junction with Barnsley Road across the recreation ground to Firth Avenue. This Order shall come into operation on 10 February 2025 for a maximum duration of up to six months. Works are due to be completed by the end of March 2025. The closure will be activated for a short period of time (Approx.1 day) at the start and end of the works.
Reason: Installation of overground pumping pipes.
