What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1064 ST NICHOLAS STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the U1064 St Nicholas Street, Ipswich from Falcon Street to Cromwell Square to facilitate laying telecommunications ducting. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Friars Street, Princes Street, Franciscan Way, Greyfriars Road, Star Lane, St Nicholas Street and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 - 12/02/2025 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Kelly Traffic Management. Tel: (02476) 642814.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1156 BURY ROAD EASTBOUND, IPSWICH Suffolk
County Council intends to make an order closing the A1156 Bury Road Eastbound, Ipswich from Anglia Parkway South for 30 metres south eastbound to facilitate the replacement of a water meter and installation of associated valves. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1156, the A14, the A1214, the A1156 and no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 9pm on 10/02/2025 - 6am on 11/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C726 BURSTALL ROAD, SPROUGHTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C726 Burstall Road, Sproughton from the A1071 for 30 metres north westbound to facilitate sluice valve repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1071 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C695 FELSHAM ROAD, BRADFIELD ST GEORGE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C695 Felsham Road, Bradfield St George from 510 metres south east of the junction with Oakey Ley for 40 metres south eastbound to facilitate removing and installing new underground service cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Felsham Road, Gedding, Drinkstone Road, Bury Road. Gedding, Bury Road, Felsham, Upper Green, Cockfield Road, Felsham Road, Thorpe Morieux, Felsnam Road, Cockfield, Great Green, Bradfield Road, Cockfield, Bury Road, Bradfield St Clare, Water Lane, the A134, Little Welnetham Road, The Street, Little Wefnetham, Bury Road, Bradfield St George, Hollybush Comer, Felsham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 -14/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Highway Safety Management. Tel: (01473) 554385.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C904 FLIXTON ROAD, LOUND
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C904 Flixton Road, Lound from 160 metres south of The Old School for 100 metres southbound to facilitate overhead cable works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Flixton Road, Blundeston Road, The Street, Olaves Road, Herringfleet
Road, Beccles Road, Brownston Lane, Yarmouth Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C659 COLETHORPE LANE AND COALPIT LANE, BARROW
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:
- The C659 Colethorpe Lane, Barrow
- The C659 Coalpit Lane, Barrow.
This is to facilitate drainage improvement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the C660 Bury Road, Barrow the C660 Bury Road, Little Saxham, the A14 Slip Road, the C629 South Street, Risby, the C627 The Green, Risby, the C627 Cavenham Road, the C626 Icknield Way, Cavenham and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 - 12/02/2025 from 8am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Suffolk Highways. Tel: 0345 606 6171.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3419 THE STREET, PETTISTREE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3419 The Street, Pettistree from White House Kennels for 40 metres south eastbound to facilitate fire hydrant repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Thong Hall Road, Dallinghoo Road, High Street, Main Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3603 MILL LANE, CAMPSEA ASHE
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3603 Mill Lane, Campsea Ashe from Quill Farm entrance for 20 metres southbound to facilitate the digging of holes to locate missing gas valves. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Ashe Road, the B1078, Ash Road. Rendlesham Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 -15/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1116 COLLEGE ROAD, FRAMLINGHAM
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1116 College Road, Framlingham from Pembroke Road to Wees Road to facilitate carriageway repairs. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the B1116, the A1120, the B1120 and vice versa.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2335 LEE ROAD, ALDEBURGH Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U2335 Lee Road, Aldeburgh from 35 metres north of the junction with Hartingdon Road for 32 metres northbound to facilitate the diversion of an electricity cable. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Lee Road, Park Lane, The Terrace and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 -14/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1112 STATION ROAD, LAKENHEATH AND HOCKWOLD CUM WILTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads
- B1112 Station Road, Lakenheath from Wangford Road to Station Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton
- B1112 Station Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton tram Station Road, Lakenheath to Cowles Drove. This is to facilitate surface dressing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1112, Malts Lane, Main Street, Brandon Road, Hockwold Cum Wilton, Hockwold Road, Main Road, Brandon Road, Weeting, the A1065, the B1112 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 7pm on 10/02/2025 - 5am on 11/02/2025 with a further scheduled closure for associated works. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C370 AND C355 FROM THE A14 TO THE C370, TRIMLEY ST MARTIN
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C370 and C355 from the A14 to the C370, Trimley St Martin from the junction with the A14 from the junction with the A154 to the junction A12 and A1156 to the junction with Kirton Road to facilitate roundabout maintenance works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Hewlett Way, High Road, the A14 northbound, the A12 Bucklesham, the A14 southbound with no vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/02/2025 - 22/02/2025 from 8am - 6am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Ringway Infrastructure Service. Tel: 07756 208707.
