ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14
(ESTHER AVENUE, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 24) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to install new electrical connection to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Esther Avenue, Wakefield outside number 18 for approximately 15 metres. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Esther Avenue.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Esther Avenue, Cobb Avenue & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 1st February 2025 to 7th February 2025 or until completion of the work, whichever is soonest. Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
(SHEPSTYE ROAD, HORBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 35) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend to make an Order on traffic management grounds to allow installation of a new water supply to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Shepstye Road, Horbury for 5 meters. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Shepstye Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 17th February 2025 at 08:00 hours until 19th February 2025 at 20:00 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained whenever possible.
