What is happening?

B9170 INVERURIE - TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM (EXTENSION)
“The Aberdeenshire Council (B9170 Oldmeldrum Road, Inverurie – 08.01.25) (Temporary OneWay Traffic System) Order, 2025 - Extension” has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
The order will operate from 25.01.25 until 31.01.25 and will maintain a one-way traffic system on the B9170 Oldmeldrum Road - northwards from the junction with Souterford Avenue to the Recycling Centre.
Due to delays as a result of bad weather the temporary extension is necessary in the interests of public safety to complete the installation of a new pumping main.
An alternative route for southbound traffic will be available via The North Link Road, B9001, North Street, West High Street and Market Place. Details of the restriction can be viewed online at https://online.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/apps/roadworks/
