Thorne Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Replace Poles
What is happening?

Parish of Brympton Temporary Closure of Thorne Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Thorne Lane - from the junction with Lufton Lane to the junction with Lufton Way. A total distance of 1295 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to replace poles.
The Order becomes effective on 13th February 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.
The works are expected to commence on 20th February 2025 and last until 21st February 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
