M4 MOTORWAY – JUNCTIONS 6 to 7
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M4 Motorway in the Unitary Authority of Slough, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.

The effect of the Order is to authorise the 24-hour closure of:-

a) the westbound carriageway of the M4 between Junction 6 (A355) and Junction 7 (A4/Huntercombe Spur);

b) the road leading to the westbound carriageway of the M4 Junction 6 (A355); and

c) the road connecting from the westbound carriageway of the M4 to the northbound carriageway of Huntercombe Spur at Junction 7 (A4).

These measures are in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake carriageway repairs and all associated works.

It is expected that the work will last for up to 3 days starting at 00:01 hours on Saturday 1st February 2025, but is subject to change
owing to weather conditions.

Please visit the National Highways website for further details.

The Order will come into force on 31st January 2025 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.

Traffic affected by the closure will be diverted north- and west-bound on the A355 and A4, to re-join the M4 at Junction 7.

The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
