(Linch: Hollycombe Lane & Cinder Lane) (Temporary Daytime Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:(i) Hollycombe Lane from Hollycombe House to Elmers Marsh Lane; and
(ii) Cinder Lane from Hollycombe Lane to Dog Kennel Cottage
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst fibre optic cabling works are undertaken. The Order will come into effect on 17 February 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated that the works will commence on 17 February 2025 between 0930 and 1530 hours and will take 12 days to complete. (Westhampnett: Chichester 10k )(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended), the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:(i) Claypit Lane between Madgwick Lane and New Road; and
(ii) New Road/Fordwater Road between Claypit Lane and Lower Road The Order is necessary to facilitate the holding of the Chichester 10k 2025.
The Order will be operative on 2 February 2025 from 0930 to 1130 hours.

(Bognor Regis: Essex Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Essex Road in Bognor Regis, from its junction with Hawthorn Road, eastwards for 10m.
The road closure is needed to allow the replacement of gas mains to be carried out in safety. The Order will come into effect on 3 February 2025 and remain in force until 14 February 2025. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into effect on 30 January 2025 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the works programme is completed, whichever is earlier.

(Chichester: A259 Cathedral Way & Adjoining Roads)
(Restricted Road & 40mph Speed Limit Consolidation) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to introduce a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to reduce the speed limit from 60Mph to 30Mph on the A259 Cathedral Way.
