What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield have made the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

FOX LANE N13 – 4431

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Bridge Works

  • Operational Date and times: Between 22:00 hours on 1 February 2025 and 06:00 hours on 2 February 2025 or until works are completed.
  • The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on Fox Lane N13, between its junction with Palmadium Close and Pellipar Close. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

FOOTPATH NO.103, BETWEEN BANCROFT WAY AND THE REAR OF ARNOLD AVENUE EAST EN3 – 4432

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Works

  • Operational Date and times: "At Any time" on 3 February 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.
  • The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit pedestrians and cyclists from entering and proceeding on the footpath No.103 between Bancroft Way and the rear of Arnold Avenue East EN3, (Footpath No.23). While this footpath is closed local diversions will be in operation.

STOCKINGSWATER LANE EN3 - 4433

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

  • Operational Date and times: "At Any time" on 3 February 2025 for 4 months or until works are completed.
  • The general effect of the Order will be:

    • Close this road at its junction with Mollison Avenue, eastwards for approximately 70 metres; and
    • Suspend parking on this road from its junction with Mollison Avenue to Leeside Industrial Estate, on both sides of the road. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

CANONBURY ROAD AND INVERNESS AVENUE EN1 - 4434

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

  • Operational Date and times: Between 09:30 hours to 15:30 hours on 5 February 2025 or until works are completed.
  • The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on Canonbury Road and Inverness Avenue EN1, Nos.16/18 Inverness Avenue to Nos. 82/84 Canonbury Road. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

NOBLE ROAD N18 – EM08

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

  • Operational Date and times: "At Any time" on 21 January 2025 for a further 2 days.
  • The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on this road from the junction with Kynoch Road N18. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

HOLMWOOD ROAD EN3 – EM10

Reason for 14(1) Order – FOLLOW ON FROM 14.2 NOTICE

  • Operational Date and times: "At Any time" on 26 January 2025 for a further 2 days.
  • The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic from entering and proceeding on this road from outside No.42 Holmwood Road, south eastwards for approximately 16 metres. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
