What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A134 ROUGHAM ROAD, BURY ST EDMUNDS
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A134 Rougham Road, Bury St Edmunds from 50 meters east of the junction with Vale Lane to the Moreton Hall Interchange to facilitate resurfacing and signalling works for Rougham Road Roundabout. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A1302 Cullum Road, the A1302 Parkway, Tayfen Road, Compiegne Way, the A14 Junction 43 to Junction 44 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/01/2025 - 10/02/2025 from 8pm - 6am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6810 GREENFIELDS WAY, HAVERHILL
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6810 Greenfields Way, Haverhill from Gipping Close to Connaught Road to facilitate parking of plant equipment for carriageway resurfacing on Leather Lane and Ixworth Road. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Greenfields Way, Burton End, Clements Lane, Greenfields Way and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/01/2025 - 31/01/2025 from 9.30am - 2.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7320 ASSINGTON GREEN, STANSFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U7320 Assington Green, Stansfield from Chalcott for 50 metres eastbound to facilitate replacing a telecommunication pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Lower Street, Pugh Hill, Lower Green, Assington Green Stansfield and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/01/2025 - 30/01/2025 from 9am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C668 HOLLOW HILL, WITHERSFIELD
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C668 Hollow Hill, Withersfield from no. 9 for 100 metres eastbound to facilitate the replacement of a decayed telecommunications pole. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Church Street, Queen Street, the A1307, Withersfield Road, Silver Street, Horseheath Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/01/2025 - 31/01/2025 from 9am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF BLYTHBURGH) (FOOTPATH 17) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023
This order, which came into effect on 30/08/2023 closing Footpath 17, has been extended in force by the Minister until 08/02/2026 or until the completion of the works, whichever is earlier.
This closure remains required due to the interests of public safety for safety reasons due to a collapsed culvert and erosion. Without extension, the order would have been in effect until 08/02/2025.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1113 FINNINGHAM ROAD, OLD NEWTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1113 Finningham Road, Old Newton from 70 metres north of the junction with Falconer Avenue for 30 metres northbound to facilitate repairs to a water defect. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, the A140, the A1120, the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 08/02/2025 - 09/02/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980: SECTION 90A
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ROAD HUMPS ON EUROPA WAY ACCESS ROADS 1 AND 2, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council proposes to construct two raised table road humps on Europa Way Access Roads 1 and 2, Ipswich.
The first raised table road hump will be located across Access Road 1, its centre point being approximately 54 metres south of the junction with Bramford Road (B1067) Ipswich.
The second raised table road hump will be located across Access Road 2, its centre point being approximately 215 metres southeast of the junction with Bramford Road (B1067) Ipswich.
Both raised table road humps will be placed along the full width of the road, will be 7.3 metres long (including ramps), and no more than 75 millimetres high.
