Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath 5K in Hassocks, from its junction with London Road, eastwards to its junction with Public Footpath 11K.
The closure of this route is needed to maintain public safety while a property development is constructed on adjacent land. The Order extends the operation of a previous Order and will come into effect on 5 February 2025. The Order will remain in force for 6 months, after which it is likely an extension will be required.
Unfortunately, no alternative route is available via the public rights of way network during these works but when possible an alternative route will be provided on private land adjacent to the route.
