TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401442 KNAPP LANE, BRIMSCOMBE (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401442 Knapp Lane, Brimscombe, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 34 metres southwestwards.

The reason for the said closure is for bridge inspection works on behalf of Network Rail.

The road is expected to be closed from 21:00hrs on 3rd February 2025 until 05:00hrs on 4th February 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 408374 Upton Gardens Road, from outside the property known as "21" to outside the property known as "28" for a distance of approximately 25 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus installation works.

The reason for the said closure is for works on the overhead telecommunication infrastructure.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 3rd February 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This intended Order may permit the closure of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 30th March 2025. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 401327 Thrupp Lane Road, from outside the property known as ‘Sagecroft’ to the road of Thrupp Lane, for a distance of approximately 132 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works to clear a blocked duct.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C268 BUTTERROW HILL (RODBOROUGH PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C268 Butterrow Hill Road from its junction with Northfield Road to the property known as ‘Glen View Cotts’ for a distance of approximately 120 metres.

The reason for the said closure is to allow for wall rebuilding works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EEA 14 & EEA 15 (EASTINGTON & GREAT OLDBURY PARISHES) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the public footpaths as described in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

    • Part of Public Footpath EEA 14 in the Parishes of Eastington & Great Oldbury from its junction with Public Footpath EEA 15 extending in a generally northerly direction for approximately 243 metres to its junction with another section of EEA 14.

    • Part of Public Footpath EEA 15 in the Parishes of Eastington & Great Oldbury from its junction with Public Footpath EEA 14 extending in a generally southerly direction for approximately 178 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EEA 16.

The reason for the said closures is to allow for development works.

The Order has been extended to come into force on the 27th August 2024 and was expected to end on the 27th February 2025 but has been extended for an additional 6 months by the Secretary of State for Transport. This Order has been extended an extension until 27th August 2026 or until the works have been completed.

Alternative Route – as indicated on the Plan by a dashed line, marked A – C – D – E – B.
