PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U23426 Haslucks Green Road, Majors Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: to close that part of U23426 Haslucks Green Road from its junction with U23424 Tilehouse Lane to its junction with U23424 Truemans Heath Lane.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U23426 Haslucks Green Road into Solihull Borough (part), U23433 Peterbrook Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days (24hrs). Commencing: 24 February 2025.

(U30015 Dark Lane, Astwood Bank) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U30015 Dark Lane from its junction with C2038 Astwood Lane for a distance of 120 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Bbox Renewal by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2038 Astwood Lane, C2038 Feckenham Road, U30027 High Street, U30015 Dark Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 February 2025.

(C2041 Lea Green Lane, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2041 Lea Green Lane from its junction with C2041 Station Road to its junction with U23486 Selsdon Close.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2041 Station Road, C2180 Alcester Road, U23458 Shawhurst Lane, C2041 Hollywood Lane, C2041 Lea Green Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 33 days (24hrs). Commencing: 3 February 2025.

(U31138 Sycamore Avenue, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Sycamore Avenue from its junction with U31130 Parsons Road to its junction with U31131 Myrtle Avenue.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U31138 Sycamore Avenue (part), U31130 Parsons Road, U31134 The Mayfields, U31138 Sycamore Avenue (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 3 February 2025.

(U30303 Mansell Road, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U30303 Mansell Road from its junction with U30304 Clent Avenue to its junction with U30300 Yvonne Road.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U30300 Yvonne Road, U30100 Evesham Road, U30305 Jubilee Avenue, U30304 Clent Avenue and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 4 February 2025 and 17 February 2025.

(U30007 Enfield Road/U30007 Feckenham Road/U30007 Blaze Lane, Astwood Bank) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U30007 Enfield Road from its junction with B4504 Windmill Drive to its junction with U30005 Weavers Lane & U30007 Feckenham Road. Closure 2: U30007 Feckenham Road from its junction with U30007 Enfield Road & U30005 Weavers Lane to its junction with U30007 Blaze Lane. Closure 3: U30007 Blaze Lane from its junction with U30007 Feckenham Road to its junction with U30004 Crofts Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4504 Windmill Drive, A441 Evesham Road, C2038 Church Road, C2038 Astwood Lane, U30004 Crofts Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 31 January 2025 and 13 February 2025.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2025 [Disabled Persons' Parking Space on Mynors Crescent, Hollywood]

On 16 January 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled persons' parking space on the following length and side of roads in Bromsgrove:-Mynors Crescent (north side) Hollywood - from a point 80 metres east of Shawhurst Lane, for a distance of 6.6 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/ access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 6 February 2025.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
