What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(BIRCH HILL ROAD, BRACKNELL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit:

a) Any vehicle travelling on Birch Hill Road, Bracknell.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority install a zebra crossing in the carriageway.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via: Ringmead and this route reversed.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 19th February 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on 19th February 2025 and 21st February 2025.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
