Brendon Avenue - Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic A Sewer Connection
What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC141887308: The City of Manchester (Brendon Avenue, Moston Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Brendon Avenue From Levens Street to Number 3 Brendon Avenue. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Brendon Avenue, Lightbowne Road, Kenyon Lane, Mcconnell Road and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a sewer Connection . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th February 2025 to 19th February 2025.The order shall come into operation on 10th February 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
