ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE U6233 WEST STOW ROAD, CULFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6233 West Stow Road, Culford to facilitate parking of equipment whilst working at Chimney Mills. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: Ingham Road, West Stow, the B1106, Herringswell Road, Culford and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 from 8am - 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6106 MANOR ROAD, BRANDON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6106 Manor Road, Brandon from Norman Cottage to the junction with The Street to facilitate providing a safe working area for engineers to excavate and provide new ducting in footway. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: Crown Street, A1065, Church Road, Manor Road and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 - 30/01/2025 from 8am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C686 QUEEN STREET, COWLINGE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C686 Queen Street, Cowlinge between Hill House and Newmarket Road for 60 metres southbound to facilitate the safety of engineers providing an overhead cable route and tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: Eratts Hill, Pound Green, Hawk Bush Road, Hawk Bush Road Stradishall, A143, B1063, Denston, Dove, The Street, Kirtling Road, Newmarket Road Cowlinge, Hill House, Newmarket Road Cowlinge and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C42 GASTON STREET, EAST BERGHOLT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C42 Gaston Street, East Bergholt from Delvyns to Afton to facilitate a water meter exchange. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: The Be Street, Rectory Hill, Gandis Road, B1070, Gaston Street and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE C418 IPSWICH ROAD, SCHOOL ROAD AND LEMON HILL, TATTINGSTONE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C418 Ipswich Road, Tattingstone; C418 School Road, Tattingstone; and C418 Lemon Hill, Tattingstone to facilitate pre-surface dressing patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: Church Road, Tattingstone, A13 and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 - 30/01/2025 from 9:30am - 3pm with a further closure schedule for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister)

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3316 WESTERFIELD LANE, TUDDENHAM ST MARTIN

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3316 Westerfield Lane, Tuddenham St Martin from Hillcrest for 40 metres south westbound to facilitate installing overhead line and poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: Church Lane, Westerfield, B1077, B1078, B1079, Market Hill, Clopton, Bonds Corner, Helmingham, Clopton Road, Grundisburgh Street, Otley, Otley Bottom, Tuddenham St Martin, The Street and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister)

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3612 LOWER STREET AND BRIDGE ROAD, UFFORD AND BROMESWELL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads to facilitate pre-surface dressing patching:

  • U3612 Lower Street, Ufford from Lower Road, Ufford to Bridge Road, Bromeswell.
  • U3612 Bridge Road, Bromeswell.

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Diversion Route: A1152, B1438, Old Church Road, Melton, Lower Road, Ufford and vice versa.

Closure Period: 29/01/2025 - 31/01/2025 from 9am - 4pm with a further closure scheduled for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
